The Talent Lifecycle Collective celebrated our 1 year Anniversary in style!

 

We re-branded as The TLC Group in July 2018. The reason behind our re-brand was for our name to represent what we do, who we are, and why we do it. For those who don’t know, let’s keep this simple, because what we do doesn’t need to be complicated.

 

TALENT – So many companies offer “recruitment” but do they truly understand what Talent looks like to you? What is true Talent? To us, it wasn’t just finding someone who ticked a skill box, but it was someone who was already achieving success, and had the skill set, but also the transferable skills and the right cultural fit to be mutually beneficial to both our client and candidate.

LIFECYCLE – We realised from our own experience and from listening to our network of people, that most of us had the same issues, concerns and frustrations. We spent 1/3 of our time looking for talent or looking for the right job, and the other 2/3 was trying to retain our talent, or striving to succeed in your job and be the best version you can be. Why offer just a talented individual and then leave them on their journey? Lifecycle services is about staff retention, employee engagement, leadership coaching, CV writing, presentation skills and so on. Whatever you need to continue to thrive, develop and succeed, The TLC Lifecycle Services will support you on that journey.

COLLECTIVE – We realised that in order to be supportive, relatable and offer the best solutions to our customers, we had to have a collective of talent ourselves. Starting from our founders, Lucie Jeffries and Calvin Goom, we have a great TLC family and network of partners who have experience and knowledge to truly offer you an expert service. We pride ourselves on learning daily and embracing your industry, your culture and your needs. We work collectively with our clients and candidates to help make the perfect match, whether that be a new job, new talented individual or identify what training could support your career goals.

 

We’ve had a great year, placed lots of talented people into great companies, connected some successful individuals and added to our very own TLC family. It would have been rude not to celebrate in style. Our wonderful Co-founder Lucie Jeffries let us host a fab party at her house, where we had a BBQ, Cocktails, Magician, Quiz Master, Games, Tin foil fashion show and lots of fun! We love to work hard and celebrating with our very own TLC family was the perfect way to celebrate our success.
