Executive & Behavioural Coaching
OVERVIEW:
Executive Coaching enables businesses to be more productive by putting their people first. We focus on behavioral change, which when applied in the workplace leads to better performance and a happier individual. Becoming a great leader means not only developing specific skills but also building confidence, improving behaviours and evolving thinking.
Clients use this service when they can’t see the wood for the trees. Trying to get everything done on your own has started to seem like an overwhelming challenge and days at work often feel like surviving rather than thriving. There is fear of stepping out of the comfort zone or fear of failure which results in feeling stuck in a rut.
We coach senior people who would like to inspire and motivate their teams whilst remaining authentically driven and ambitious. Our clients have to bring the best out in their people and are curious to explore ways to do it, while balancing a responsibility for their own and their team’s resilience and wellbeing.
An executive coach acts as a sounding board; challenges thinking; provides tools and techniques for dealing with challenging situations and crucially, builds confidence.

BIO:
Executive Coaching provides a catalyst for enhanced business performance. Combining personal insight with results proven coaching techniques, our approach identifies and challenges behaviours that have become unhelpful habits and implements practical and solid tools for change.
Ouir passion is coaching high achieving and high potential people in the workplace, helping them navigate challenges, identify their blindspots and develop a truly resilient mindset.
Our coach holds a PGC in Coaching and Behavioural Change from Henley Business School. They are also qualified MBTI psychometrics practitioners and can use understanding personality types in building professional strengths and managing potential conflict.
Whilst the majority of our work is 1-2-1 with individual clients, we also facilitate and have run many small group/team workshops including Building Resilience and Culture Change.
Prior to coaching, our lead coach spent 18 years in Investment Banking on fast paced and boisterous trading floors. The personalities drawn to this ambitious, driven and stressful environment fascinated me and piqued my long held interest in people and their behaviours. Our clients appreciate that we have experienced the pace, environment and challenges that they often face and we quickly build rapport because of this.
As an Executive & Behavioural Coach over the last 7 years, we have worked with hundreds of clients and have 1500+ hours of coaching experience. We work predominantly with senior people (Director level) across industries, the bulk of our work is within IT, Media, Finance & Sales. We are often brought in when the business has recognised a valued employee is finding some area of leadership particularly challenging and they require external, objective support.
We are members of and abide by the rules & ethics of the Association for Coaching. In accordance with AC guidelines I undergo regular supervision.
TESTIMONIALS:
‘We had regular coaching sessions over a period of 12 months. Each session was targeted on an area of development and although at times it was very challenging, I was really starting to reap the benefits, enable greater control of my life and deal with many areas that I had been neglecting for some time. I wholeheartedly recommend Ruth to anyone seeking to better their lives and be the best version of themselves they can be’.
Kate Herbert – Managing Partner, Head of People, OMD
‘During my time working at the BBC, Ruth gave me the tools and confidence to communicate more effectively with colleagues and to better navigate situations that were outside my comfort zone.
Coaching can involve asking yourself some uncomfortable questions and challenging your thought processes and previous behaviours and this was made much easier thanks to Ruth’s ongoing encouragement and her useful insights from working with other individuals and businesses. She was direct and firm without being too pushy or intimidating.’
Maddy Savage – Journalist, Presenter & Moderator
‘I worked with Ruth as I transitioned from a Commercial Director into a wider Managing Director role. Ruth provided great support through the transition and helped challenge my thinking and in doing so helped me gain clarity, focus and confidence in the decisions I was making. Ruth held up a mirror and through asking open and challenging questions that were often uncomfortable to answer she enabled me to see the full picture. I would recommend Ruth to other senior business leaders who want to challenge and stretch themselves to improve.’
